Ebay Considers to sell Skype
Personally i never thought that Ebay’s purchase of Skype in the first place made much sense and i guess they are figuring that out now as well. Their purchase of PayPal in 2002 makes a lot of sense as almost all of the transactions going through the site go through PayPal, but not so much for Skype. I’m hoping that Google picks up Skype, either to integrate with Gtalk or to build into Android.

I think Google is a worthy candidate, especially considering GrandCentral and all the other things they have going.
However, I doubt anybody thought Ebay’s purchase of skype made any sense except for gloating purposes.
Completely forgot about Grand Central. Another possible use Google could have for it. Apple could be a possibility as well, could make a cool iPhone and iPod Touch app, but it would really piss off all the carriers.
