Ulteo Virtual Desktop

Ulteo
Ulteo, A Linux distro based on Ubuntu, has just release a Linux virtual desktop for Windows systems. Now this is a rather interesting piece of technology, but not really all that useful for a regular user. It lets you run Linux applications on top of your Windows environment. It’s pretty much the opposite of Wine, which we mentioned earlier today. Sadly you need to install it and it doesn’t just run, like a Portable Application, but it is still really cool. If you really can’t leave your Linux apps behind but are forced to use Windows for some ungodly reason, then give Ulteo a try.
