People without donuts are so bitter. View Comments

Well, another year is under the belt.

And I’ve had 313 pretty good days.

The Mondays sucked.

So it is the time of the year where everyone comes up with a bunch of resolutions they don’t ever see through.

Any one has any to share?

PS Muse’s latest album is…. well, different. I don’t really know if it’s good for them to move that direction. I like their older stuff better. I know, random.

Music You Don’t Care About – Year in Re(ar)view View Comments

Well, the new year is finally upon us. Hope everyone out there had a great Christmas (or, for our Jewish readers, Quanza), and are enjoying a nice holiday break. Of course, with the end of the year coming, it’s only fitting that I do some sort of year-end summation of music and stuff. Don’t worry, however: this will not be some long, prolonged ordeal like my Best of the Decade list was. Instead, I’m just going to do a clean list, no descriptions, no hyperbole; a simple document of exactly what I believe to be the best albums and songs of this year. So let’s just get right into it, shall we?

Bear in mind that several of the CDs listed here are ones I only first heard about a week ago, reflecting their relatively low position on the chart.

Game of the Year

1. Batman: Arkham Asylum
2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
3. Dragon Age: Origins
4. Assassin’s Creed II
5. Borderlands

My favourite movie of the year was Inglorious Basterds, followed by Star Trek. And no, I have not seen Avatar yet.

My favorite thing released this year was the Coheed and Cambria Neverender DVD. ‘Nuff said. If you don’t own this, you don’t like Coheed. Period.

Otherwise… um… my favorite soft drink of the year continues to be Sprite, making this the third consecutive win for Sprite… yeah, I got nothing. Well, rather than end on a high note, I’ll just let this article die with this rambling sentence. Farewell to the twenty-oh-crime, hello to twenty-sin!

Best tool for Reformatting View Comments

So I hijacked this link from a reddit user who knows his shit. I didn’t even know stuff like this existed. When I reformatted I just googled the program i wanted, went to the site and downloaded it. Now some crazed man of efficiency has created a website dedicated to creating customized install packages for your naked formatted computer.
Ninite.com is simply Amazing!

The worst thing i’ve seen this year. Gah View Comments

Now this video was uploaded in 2007 but still this is pretty disturbing. This poor store clerk fends off 2 robbers in a very bloody knife/sword fight, scary stuff.
