The posts below are in no particular order. Just because Theater Hopper is at the bottom of the list doesn’t mean its our least favorite. We figured it was too much work(and would cause way too much controversy) for us to put these in any particular order. So we didn’t. This is article is primarily written by Nowned, with a little co-writing by Mr. Wumpus.
#1 - Penny Arcade | Feed

Penny Arcade is, without a doubt, one of the most successful web comics out there. They have been making comics for over 10 years and at least in Mr. Wumpus’s opinion, are the best web comic on the internet bar-none. They have their own gaming expo, called PAX (Penny Arcade Exhibition), which is held in Seattle, Washington every year. They are the largest video game and various nerd-stuff exhibition in North America after E3 was downsized. They just released their own video game, On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, and are going to be releasing more episodes in the future. They have released 5 books to dates, which are available in retail stores everywhere. The Penny Arcade web comic mainly focuses on video games, the video game industry and gamer culture in general. They post comics every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
#2 - XKCD | Feed

XKCD is a web comic by Randall Munroe which he describes as “a web comic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language.” The comic is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 2.5 License, which lets anyone use the comics for non commercial purposes as long as they give credit. XKCD is probably the most dugg web comic of them all as usually at least one of his comics reaches the front page every week. New comics are released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
#3 - Gone With The Blastwave | Feed

Gone With The Blastwave is probably the prettiest web comic out there(in Nowned’s opinion at least). The first few comics were actually painted on full sheets of canvas and then digitized. GTWB follows groups of clueless soldiers in a post apocalyptic world. Comics are posted randomly and rarely(but they should be posted more!)
#4 - Ctrl+Alt+Del | Feed

There was a lot of controversy inside of Exploding Wumpus when i decided to include Ctrl+Alt+Del. Apparently a lot of the people here don’t really like it that much but this is my post so i can choose. Ctrl+Alt+Del is another gaming related web comic, like Penny Arcade. They also have an animated TV series of the same name. Ctrl+Alt+Del is one of the few web comics that tend to focus on long story arcs instead of single strip gags. New comics every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
#5 - Joe Loves Crappy Movies

This comic I have also only recently discovered. I’m not actually sure when it updates, it seems to be twice a week as far as I can tell. Two things that make me love this comic, excellent style and awesome parodies.
#6 - VGCats

VGCats(Short for Video Game Cats) is by the Canadian cartoonist Scott Ramsoomair. The comics often include video game based humor and satire towards the gaming industry. New comics are released randomly.
#7 - Abtruse Goose | Feed

Abtruse Goose is probably one of the nerdiest comics on this list but also one of my favorites. The comics tend to focus on math, physics and just nerdy stuff in general. The author has a thing for Angry Monkeys.
#8 - Cyanide and Happiness | Feed

Cyanide and Happiness is written by four authors, which is rather unusual for a web comic. The comics tend to use humor that mocks disabilities, rape, cancer, murder, suicide, necrophilia, pedophilia, sexual deviancy, sexually transmitted diseases, self-mutilation and violence. If any of that offends you i recommend you stay far away from this site. And /b/. They post new comics daily.
#9 - Indexed | Feed

Indexed is an extremely unique “web comic” by Jessica Hagy. I’m not sure whether i would classify this as a web comic but whatever. It’s on the list. Every “comic” is a funny graph, as ridiculous as that sounds.
#10 - My Life In A Cube | Feed

My Life In A Cube is a unique web comic that is about the author’s day at work(generally). They are made on scrap pieces of paper, napkins, post-it notes etc. New comics are released Monday through Thursday and occasionally Friday.
#11 - Theater Hopper

Theater Hopper is a comic I learned of very recently and haven’t been a reader of for a long time, I enjoy this comic because it does a good job parodying just about every movie that comes out worth a mention, the art is good and the jokes are good. This comic is consistently funny and comes out every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Definitely worth a read.
#12 - Exploding Wumpus | Feed

Ah shameless self promotion at its finest! While we are still relatively new, our readership has grown exponentially. Don’t think we deserve to be on this list? Well it’s already a really long list so we might as well throw in our own just to let people know. You probably haven’t read us before, so here’s your chance. Comics are posted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
