Karma yes Plox Comments

So its been umm months since my last post and you know what i feel damn good about it. I have watched a few years worth of anime in the past umm 6 to 7 months. Bottom line its great but become predictable sigh anyways that’s irrelevant. I always thought karma was bullshit mostly cause every time i did selfless acts of kindness it was usually repaid with a big cluster fuck of dick mashing moose knuckles while being a douche bag and not giving a flying fuck is all fine and good. Where was the shit that goes around then comes back around… I never did find that circular flying good vibes tornado. But the great thing about this is that it might not have been karma but it was definitely fucking awesome. I got my head smashed in (well, emotionally at least) in the last relationship i was in and… to say the least, I wished a horrible firestorm of world ending proportions to befall the girl in the relationship (don’t worry now, she is fine – nothing bad happened to her). But in my case i think something karma like decided that it was my turn to have something great happen. I wont say what cause the people involved would hate me for it. Bottom line though. Luck or karma – doesn’t matter at all really. But when the world has you cornered and under the heel of a tempest bitch of a mistress, don’t despair because soon enough something will saunter by and flip your fuck nut of a life around and make everything fall into place for a bit at least and give you that boost that you need. Karma or not, thank you universe. Next time don’t wait so fucking long you asshole.

OK since the last time i posted i think that a few things have happened just a few tho…first off new girl friend, new computer, forgetting about the fallout review i was gonna write probably after that i would say blue screens out the ass, a ton of anime watched and then turning 18 being drunk for 2 weeks straight then having to put down my dog because of failing kidneys and now 4 days later posting. Doesnt seem like much but that is a shit load of stuff over around 6ish months maybe more there are of course other things in between but those are big events in my life other then the fallout thing those are small fish. All in all a good six months until just recently shit hit the turbine but yeah i am gonna try a put something together here that is actually worth putting up other then this dribble …. and i figured out a quote i quite like i hope you all do to

The internet suppository of all human knowledge

Why Words Make Age Comments

First words of self are dumb and star worthless
but I keep the wolf from coming to war.
I am the thief; women gather water.

How oblivious is your doll, love?
Why dream, say I’m making a door, phone the fire. Go.
The age of you is not this day.

Demons only come at night.
Hail to the night’s wind.
Demons only come at night.
Hail to the night’s wind.

You’re obsessed with destruction
Your destruction is salvation
Me? I’m the tank of the angels.

The dawn of origins is nigh.
The final hello already?
The dawn of origins is nigh.
The final hello already? Dance.

Battle in the dusk
Old forest guardian of lore, watch this
Without the museum again.

Pinkerton Comments

Ah yes, another Music review. This time, Pinkerton by Weezer. My favourite Weezer album. (I probably said I was gonna review something else, but I doubt anyone paid attention to that)

Pinkerton” by Weezer, is their second studio effort. Rivers Cuomo on Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals, Patrick Wilson on Percussion (I personally imagine Nite Owl II on drums now) Brian Bell on Rhythm Guitar and Matt Sharp on Bass Guitar. The album composes of 10 tracks that were supposedly created before their first album, and a few of the songs from a “Space Rock Opera” record that did not see the light of day. Anyways, this album contains 10 tracks, and are as followed:

Tired of Sex - The first song, and possibly the best off the album. The lyrics convey a character who can get as much sex as he wants, but can never get love. “Monday night I’m making Jen, Tuesday night I’m making Lyn, Wednesday night I’m making Catherine, so why can’t I be making love come true?” The very best part of this track are the vocals. Rivers vocals can only be described as “Stupendous” like those breasts from the new Friday the 13th Movie; perfect nipple placement.

Getchoo - The second song. Catchy lyrics, but easily forgettable.

No Other One - A rather sad song, about a guy with a troublesome girl, that he won’t leave because he does not want to be alone. Good track.

Why Bother? – Another song that inflicts sadness. Really catchy…everything. About a guy who wants to spark up a relationship with a woman, but asks himself: “Why Bother? It’s going to hurt me. It’s going to kill when you desert me.” Yeah, about a man with negative views on relationships, a very relatable song.

Across the Sea - The internet says this is about a girl from Japan, whom Rivers Cuomo received a letter from. A really beautiful letter. Makes sense when you peruse the lyrics after listening.

The Good Life - Guess what? Another sad song. Sad lyrically, not musically. An amazing track, and a great single, this song is a strong addition to the album. Easily related as well, as great songs should be. About a guy who just one days wakes up, and realizes his life has past before his eyes. “When I look in the mirror, I can’t believe what I see. Tell me, who’s that funky dude, staring back at me?”

El Scorcho – Great track full of cultural references, and a really catchy chorus. The lyrics shine as bright as the sun, and set just as beautifully. Describes just the way one feels when highly attracted to someone, rather well, and also the inability to relay those feelings. “How stupid is it? I can’t talk about it ,I gotta sing about it and make a record of my hear”

Pink Triangle – Yup, a sad song again. Lyrically of course. About a guy who falls for a girl, only to find out she is a lesbian. “I’m dumb, she’s a lesbian, I thought I had found the one” This tugs on your heart strings, and uses them to create a guita…Yeah, this is going no where. Next song.

Falling for You – The “last” song, of the album. One of the top songs of the album, both lyrically, and musically. Just rampages into your brain, in such a great way. About an escapist, per se, who finally meets a woman worth giving a damn about. Wanting to change his ways, and such. “and I do like you – you’re the lucky one, No I’m the lucky one. I’m shakin’ at your touch, I like you way too much
My baby I’m afraid I’m falling for you,I’d do ’bout anything to get the hell out alive or maybe I would rather settle down with you”

Butterfly - The final song, acoustic solo n’ all. A butterfly metaphor (…I think?) Very apologetic and sincere in every manor. Apparently the lyrics are a reference to the Opera “Madame Butterfly” to which the album is named after a character of the aforementioned play.

And that’s it. The reason why this album is so great, is because it is so relatable. Very rarely can bands produce something like this, great to listen to, easy to listen to, sincere, relatable. Top honours.

Tegan and Sara… but still. They’re Calgarian. Good cover. They’re just so damn adorable.

Studio-esque version. Not as good as the Pinkerton version in my opinion.

Embedding disabled, but it’s the Good Life by Weezer. Enjoy.

Yes, I have realized that in my reviews, I convey the lyrics more than anything. I like songs based on lyrics first, then music. I plan to review all of Incubus’ records sometime this month, so look out for that. Also, yes, in real life, my text is in all italics. Kinda awesome really.

Vocal… TRANCE Comments

There’s a reason I don’t listen to Vocal Trance. First and most importantly almost All the lyrics have to do with love and when you really think hard about the music that you are listening is just f’in depressing… but the music is so damn good! Above and Beyond is a damn good example of this awesome and very UNAWESOME combination. I hate it i love it i just cant listen to it for more then 1 day out of every month and today is one of those days. Heres the first thing song that baited me in and reeled me into a Vocal Trance obsession for the rest of the night.

If this baited you in too heres some more!
Dash Berlin – Till the Sky Falls Down
Above and Beyond – Can’t Sleep (ATB Remix)
Paul Oakenfold – Southern Sun
Don’t Judge me I almost NEVER listen to Vocal Trance… its kinda faggy
Fenix OUT!
