Sony Ericsson C905 6

Well… I was going to get an iPhone but this has surfaced: (Link in picture for more information)

The Sony Ericsson Shiho has an 8.1 megapixel camera (yeah that’s right 8.1 holly SHIT) with both Xenon and LED flashes. It is also said to have GPS, TV out, DLNA certification and HSDPA. What a rap sheet indeed.

It is said to be announced on the 17th of June, so we will see if this amazing rumor pulls out to be true or if we will never see this again (but i’m putting my money on this one being announced, fo sho).

TED 0

I was recently introduced to this website by my Social teacher of all people. I could go on and on about this wesbite and its genius but I believe that TED can talk for himself. The website is really a video account of an annual convention where a number of interesting experts on various subjects (any subject really, there are no rules) talk. That is what they do, they talk. They talk on a wide variety of EXTREMELY interesting topics. By spending a mere hour on this website you will learn, to be completely precise, a whole fucking lot. I have always been a strong believer in the idea that all knowledge is relevant and that learning about anything and everything is always the best way to go. Always find out random shit and expand your library of inconsistent facts and you will find yourself understanding and enjoying life to a newer extent.

So I beg that you please visit this site and watch something that interests you, It is a collection of the ideas of the beautiful minds of a handfull of the worlds most masterful orators. This website is an intellectual gold mine just waiting to be exploited.

Just to juice up this post further
I will include a few videos that I personally really enjoyed and found incredibly fascinating.

Janine Benyus: 12 sustainable design ideas from nature

Dan Dennett: Can we know our own minds?

Craig Venter: On the verge of creating synthetic life

Rives: Is 4 a.m. the new midnight?
this one was done purely as comedy but its still quite fucking hilarious.

TypeRacer 0

This is actually pretty cool, especially if you want to improve your typing. It’s called TypeRacer and it’s basically at typing game but your typing speed controls a car and you play against other people online.

How Hilary Clinton Can Still Win 0

Personally i prefer the “Bush” method and just cheating, but this works to.

Flair bartending.
Awesome.

SO there I was watching the food network earlier today when I get to this show about bartending “competitions” or something. I decided to give it a try to see where it would go. The show started off slowly and wasnt terribly interesting, it concerned a number of proffesional bartenders making custom drinks, the shortcomings of which the judges would use to piss all over their dreams shortly after for the first round of the show. The second round of the competition involved the bartenders making a number of drinks as fast as they could without spilling anything or missing any ingredients (they pretty much all fucked this one up in some way or another). But what really caught my interest about this bartending competition was the “Flair” section of the show; the third part of the competition and one of the most fucking awesome things I’ve ever seen done with booze!

Flair bartending is a type of bartending where a proffesional bartender/acrobat crossbreed is given about six minutes or more to mix a few simple drinks while also doing some incredibly ridiculous shit involving juggling many colourful bottles, metal tins and lemon wedges. The winner of the food network competition was a man named Christian Delpech, brother of the man who came in second place: Rodrigo Delpech. I searched up some of this “flair bartending” on the series of tubes this afternoon and from what I’ve gathered it seems that Christian is a 16 time world champion and his brother is a very close second. To give you an idea of sickeningly fantastic they are at this “sport” Ive added two videos showcasing some skillful competitors.

This video showcases the highlights of six world class competitors. The winner of this competition is none other than Rodrigo Delpech.

This video shows the man himself, Christian Delpech, pissing in the face of gravity.
